Careen Yapp, Vice President of Acquisitions and Franchise Development Konami Digital Entertainment, commented in the press release, saying…
"Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. jumped at the opportunity to team up with Columbia Pictures and publish the Battle: Los Angeles video game," ... "We love the movie and it was a great experience working with Saber - there were some great ideas about how to expand the story into a game. It's a great chance for gamers and moviegoers to play out the world of the film."
It wasn’t long ago that Pete Haas reported on the possibility of a Battle: Los Angeles game, and it only took a few weeks and that information has been confirmed. The real question is whether or not this will be a legitimately fun experience or a cheap cash-in. The fact that it’s on the digital platforms and not a boxed retail game makes me question the quality of the game.
Anyway, Battle: Los Angeles will feature destructible environments using the Havoc Destruction Module, various military grade weapons and plenty of non-stop, fast-paced action. Gamers intrigued by this digital download shooter can learn more about it by visiting the Official Website.
